Heidi Elich is the Vice President of Field Operations at Carolina Nutrition Consultants, LLC

Heidi’s passion for nutrition and health started in her early teens.  It was not long after that she found out from her Mom that a career as a dietitian may be something to think about.  Heidi already worked in restaurants, so she decided to volunteer in her local hospital food service department.  The rest is history.

Heidi received her bachelor’s degree from Immaculata University in Pennsylvania and Master of Science in Nutrition from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Her career as a Registered Dietitian has spanned over the past 30 years and she has loved every minute of it.   She has tackled a gamete of roles from clinical dietitian, counseling, sports nutrition to nursing home administrator.  Heidi’s passion is truly working in long term care.

Heidi is the proud mother of a grown son (and 2 grandchildren) as well as a teenage step- daughter and son.  They all definitely keep her on her toes!  Heidi has a strong faith, enjoys reading, visiting her grandchildren, walking on the beach, exercising, gardening and big dogs.

Heidi relocated to South Carolina from South Jersey in 2008 and has worked with Carolina Nutrition Consultants, LLC since.   The favorite part of her job is the fact that no day is ever the same, working with a variety of other professionals and making a difference in the lives of those in long term care communities.
