- Pass a rigorous registration exam.
- Maintain continuing education credits throughout your career.
An RDN’s background makes them uniquely equipped to deliver clinical nutrition education and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for disease prevention and management. Universal health and nutrition advice can be found anywhere…RDNs provide individualized recommendations – taking into consideration a patient or client’s age, gender, lifestyle, environment, medical history and personal preferences.
RDN’s also practice using evidence-based facts. Simply put, they offer guidance that’s been validated by research and work to dispel myths and fads.
